The Creation

B'More Dyke Drag was founded the summer of 2024 by Orion Ridgely (they/them)

Orion made their official drag debut in April 2023 at an Open King Night produced by Pretty Boi Drag.

Inspired by Pretty Boi Drag, Orion yearned to start producing drag shows and create more opportunities for kings to perform... but also carve out space that includes fem-presenting and gender-bending dragsters alongside kings.

The Future

Due to burnout and life transitions, Orion made the bittersweet decision at the end of 2025 to step away from producing and pass the torch to their drag family.

B'More Dyke Drag shows have always been a collective effort, and will be even more so going forward.

Despite an increasingly hostile political climate, our drag community is growing and we are increasing local positive awareness of who we are and what we offer.
